The two American girls interviewed,said that a boy has to speak first and asks girl's phone number,to question one and two.The two girls confirmed male dominance to all sociometric questionnaire,in paricular to the question four and five,about the way a boy should act to a girl:in fact he usually should pick the girl up at her home and he has to behave like a traditional gentleman.All this,makes me understand that boy has central position on dating.

What is important to say is thay inside the eight sociometric questions,there is an implicit social model that is the italian model:a model based on the relationship between a boy and a girl,seen, first of all, from an italian point of view.This could mean that dating is highly valued into the italian society.

As regards which were my initial hypotheses about Trinity students,I thought that they could be expansive,kindly,indeed I have found out aspects of their life beyond sociometric questions:I knew them better,their family,their customs, however,the most important thing had been to try to create empathy.

When talking with the two American girls,I tried to enter into their world,their ideas,but it was inevitable to fall into subjectivity of their answers because it's easy to judge someone by his/her answers:it can limited the risk of distortion thanks to complicity between two people and this is what I have done.
