- The Attendance Sheet gives the names of the group members in a six squares;

- The Group Leader puts P (present), A (absent) or X (late or left early) in each square.

- Leaders also put L1 (or L2, L3...) after their name to show who is the leader for that week.

N.B. If a Leader is absent, the group nominates a substitute who signs the Roll Sheet but who does
not put L1 (or L2...) after her name, unless the substitution is permanent for that week.

- The number between the first parentheses gives total absences so far (max. 2 absences in a module with 10 lessons in all, 3 absences for a module with 15 lessons in all, 4 absences in a module with 20 lessons, etc.). The second number gives the times the student was late or left early. After three such times, the number of absences is increased by one.

	AVVERTIMENTO PER CHI CORREGGE I COMPITI: 1.Non è ammissibile il “voto politico” (lo stesso voto medio messo a tutti per non fare distinzioni). Bisogna, anzi, fare distinzioni poiché così “educate” gli altri del gruppo, li fate notare cose che prima non notavano (l'incompletezza di una risposta o una scrittura poco leggibile, ecc.). Naturalmente, può succedere che tutti nel gruppo meritano lo stesso voto, in questo caso non ci sono problemi. Ma se ci sono vistosi differenze e tutti hanno lo stesso voto, il Capo Gruppo riceve 0. E in ogni caso i voti vanno spiegati nello spazio "Comment".. 2. Non sono ammissibili "voti regali" o "voti punitivi". Chi fa il Babbo Natale o il contrario perde dal proprio punteggio i punti in eccesso o in difetto. Il capogruppo che ha un 3 e regala 1 punto immeritatamente a 4 compagni simpatici e toglie un punto immeritatamente ad un compagno che gli è antipatico, finisce con un meno 2 (-2). 3. Come si fa ad indovinare ciò che il docente avrebbe messo per un determinato compito, così da non perdere punti? Questa domanda è mal posta, non si tratta di indovinare quello che io metterei. Si tratta di ragionare, insieme agli altri, su cosa costituisce un buon compito e di assegnare i punti di conseguenza, indicandone sommariamente le giustificazioni. Accetterò qualsiasi cosa che sia ragionevole (intanto, si sa, i voti sono sempre arbitrari), aiutandomi a capire la logica di chi corregge anche dalle spiegazioni date per ogni voto, soprattutto se particolarmente alto o basso. 4. Cosa si fa quando non si capisce come bisogna fare un compito, cioè qual'è il modo giusto per farlo? Semplice. Porre a voi stessi la domanda “Cosa sto cercando di dimostrare con questo compito? Cosa sto cercando di capire e di spiegare? Cosa questo compito mi porta a scoprire sulla comunicazione in inglese (e anche in generale)?” Quando avrai formulato delle risposte ad ognuno di queste domande (non importa se sono le mie risposte), potrai fare un lavoro che sarà sicuramente proficuo ad interessante.
