INSTRUCTIONS

GROUP LEADER:
Do not accept the form
if it is not neat and easy to read
and if it does not respect the format (name, etc.)
and margins indicated in the example
<here.

You must give one or zero points for each of the following 5 criteria:

(i.) ”Lead” paragraph
1 =
The paper starts with the conclusion (what was learned about Anglo culture) and says if the insight is new to the author of the Report.
0 = The paper fails to “
arrivare al dunque subito”; the beginning is vague or the conclusion appears at the end or its novelty is not indicated.

(ii.) Paragraph giving experimental set-up and data sources
1 = The paper explains how the data was collected (who, what background, where, etc.) and the particulars of the interview.
0=  The paper does not give precise (place names, etc.) details about the situation, the person interviewed, the conduction of the interview.

(iii.) Paragraph giving the theory behind the experiment
1=
The paper gives the object of the enquiry, the validity of “interviewing” as a means, the validity of the questions, and the probable answers.
0 =
The paper fails to explain all of the above. For example, it does not explain why “interviewing” is effective or why the questions are valid.

(iv.) Paragraph giving the data discovered through the experiment
1 = The paper says if the hypotheses were verified, if a cultural mind-set was discovered, how typical it is likely to be in the Anglo community.
0 = The paper does not do all the things indicated above. In particular the author does not describe clearly the cultural mind-set discovered.

(v.) Paragraph giving the final conclusions
1 = The paper repeats the conclusion, says what it and the whole experience are worth. The validity of the knowledge obtained in real life.
0 = The paper does not conclude giving the overall conclusion, the value of the experience and the value of the knowledge obtained.

Group Leaders can add a short comment after a student's mark to justify the mark given (one or two sentences).
